During the field assessment across Shattola, the team explored potential sites for dedicated safe spaces and inclusive community recreational areas. Starting from Bazar Gate in Niketan, the team walked through Dishari Math, a popular recreational ground, and assessed its potential for community use. The team then visited the TB Hospital grounds, where the surrounding open areas serve institutional purposes. The assessment continued through different alleys (goli) in Shattola, including Chowdhury Para, Pora Bosti, and Boundary Bosti. The field visit provided a baseline understanding of the existing spatial conditions and highlighted opportunities to design safe, accessible, and inclusive public spaces within Shattola.
